**[Podcast Title]**

ej’s voice cast [TK episode number 17 / episode title ]

**Introduction:**

Hello, ej here, and welcome to ej’s voice cast, the podcast that takes you on my journey of becoming a voice over artist.

**Opening Segment:**

[TK Hook or interesting fact related to the topic]

**Transition to Main Content:**

**Main Content:**

- [Segment 1: Current Status ]

I’m starting on my schedule for getting my VO career off the ground. I’ve signed up for a coaching lesson starting next Saturday. I want to try and have a session once every couple of weeks so I have time to practice what I learned in each class. I’ve got what I learned from Audacity Boot Camp working for me on the podcast side. I have taken some of those lessons and applied them to VO audition editing. There’s still rough edges, I can hear mouth noises, clicks and such, but I think some of that can be taken care of by practicing the methods of eating an apple, drinking plenty of water etc…

- [Segment 2: continuing education]

I signed up for a course on podmatch.com called podcast made simple.

I supposed to wake up and join in the live session but had to settle for a replay’d verison. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten past the opening remarks and key note as the link didn’t seem to include the entire video.

Some things they spoke on were keeping things consistent, like make a podcast on a regular basis. Keep things manageable, so instead of setting a goal of 100 podcasts in a year be more conservative and aim for 30 to 50 per year. Right now I’m trying to go for two a month so that’s 24 for the year. I should be able to reach that goal.

- [Segment 3: Be introspective]

One of the first things mentioned was to ask yourself why you want to podcast.

Make list of the reasons why you wish to podcast.

My reasons for podcasting?

1. Climb out of my introvert-ish shell

2. Do get my voice out there

3. Have a therapeutic outlet

4. Possibly make someone laugh, smile, think, learn

5. Have someone succeed because they learned from my history

Another item, I thought odd when he first mentioned it is, Clarify my avatar.

He meant find out who your making this podcast for.

My podcast is for anyone curious about the world of VO and what it takes to become a VO artist. It doesn’t mean that I’m targeting folks who want to be VO talent it means providing information to people who may just have an interest as to how and why people do this.

[Segment 4:]

**Personal Story or Example:**

- [TK Share a personal story or example]

**Expert Insight or Quote:**

**Transition to Conclusion:**
