I have made some recent changes to the podcast. I've combined the two into one so you will now here the podcast in both English and Japanese. After a few trials I have now decided to do this paragraph by paragraph. You will get one paragraph in English and the next in Japanese.

Segment 1:[ Finished the audiobook /Audiobook owarimashita ]

Hello everyone, I completed the main part of the book and have moved on to the retake and modification portion of the task. I had to fix some mispronunciations of words and names and record some changes to the original text due to mistakes on the creators part.

Minasan konnichiwa, audiobook no gig wa owarimashita. Ima wa retakes shimasu. Retake wa kotoba no machigai o naoshimasu. Tatoeba byooin to biyooin, toka, hito no name toka, nado desu. Kore wa kantan desu

I’ve sent them my invoice for part one and another for the second set. Hopefully this past upload will be the last. I’m super concerned about getting everything just right. I asked them how they picked their narrators. Once this is done I’ll need to contact someone and see about being part of their regular narrators. I also submitted 3 auditions to ACX. If I haven’t mentioned them before, ACX is Amazon’s audiobook division. You can search for particular book types and submit an audition that meets their sp

Segment 2: [Started a new course / atarashi gakko hajimarimashita ]

I just started Voice Acting 201 a couple of weeks ago. New course, new instructor and new areas to cover. We are getting into creating emotions for reads, anger, fear, and happiness. Unfortunately the class is at 2am for me but only 6 more weeks and so far not so bad.

Atarashi kurassu o hajimemashita. Namae wa Voice Acting 201. Ni shukan mae hajimemashita. Atarashi kurassu to atarashi sensei to atarashi wadai ga arimasu. Ikari ya Kyoofu ya shiawase no yoo na kimochi nado desu. Kurassu ga asa no ni ji ni ari masu. Ato rokushuukan nokotte imasu .

So apparently I was selected for a commercial. Contacted the person and then never received a reply until this week. They asked if I was able to do the project. I quickly reviewed and answered yes and now again I’m not getting a response. Not sure where this is going or they just went with someone else. Honestly this group isn’t very responsive based on my email train. I would ask for information and not get anything so of course it slips my mind.
