The Voice Traveller
I have made some recent changes to the podcast. I've combined the two into one so you will now here the podcast in both English and Japanese. After a few trials I have now decided to do this paragraph by paragraph. You will get one paragraph in English and the next in Japanese.

Welcome to EJ’s voice over journey where the mic is always on and the learning never stops.
I'm EJ, a voice actor journeying through the world of voiceover — from auditions and coaching to client work. Whether you’re just starting out on your voice acting path or already deep into the journey, this podcast shares real experiences, lessons, laughs, and challenges straight from inside the booth. Let’s bring scripts to life — together — with heart and soul!"**

Segment 1:[ substack / ]
I recently created a presence on substack. Another social media outlet but it’s “supposed” to be different. Unlike Twitter and Youtube which rely on algorithms this is supposed to be for deep-dive newsletters with audience ownership while Twitter and Youtube are more public conversation and long-form video content.
Sabustakku o gozonji desu ka? Boku wa subustakku de account o (kaisetsu/tsukurimashita). Substakku wa atarashi social media no uebsieto desu. Substakku wa algorithm ga arimasen hazu desu. Substakku ni merumaga o kaisetsu. Boku no merumaga wa seiyu desu. Futsuu no SNS wa arugorizumu de risunaa o atsumemasu ga, Substack wa kikite to chokusetsu tsunagaru koto ga dekimasu.
I need to find out how many other VA’s are using substack and how they are using substack to further their presence. The link to my substack is in the transcript.
Hoka no seiyuu-san ga dono you ni Substack o tsukatte iru no ka shiritai desu. Substack no rinku wa toransukuriputo ni nosete imasu.
Segment 2: [ New VA Class / Atarashi kurasu ]
My new class, Voice Acting 301, is the last of the Voice Acting series. My coach is running the class and the first one was good. We got a homework assignment to practice what we learned in the first one. I’m looking forward to this week's class and the feedback from my other classmates. So far only 2 others have uploaded their assignments and I listened to them and left my comments. No comments on mine yet but there’s still one more day left.
Seiyuu 301 kurasu ga kono shirīzu no ressun wa, kono ato de shūryō desu. Boku no kochi ga oshiete imasu. Kono kurasu o shukudai arimasu. Boku no shukudai o owarimashita. Boku wa feddobaku o matte imasu. Daitai feddobaku o tame narimasu.
Segment 3: [ Updating my booth / ]
I’m looking at modifying my booth again. Right now I have a frame I purchased that I hang my blankets on but I’m still working on the idea of a more semi permanent to permanent setup. I will need the long compression curtain rods. These will stretch across the room and using a twisting locking function, will hold up my sound blankets.
Rekoodo buusu o kaetai node, sono tameni nagai tsuppari boo ga hitsuyou de, sono tsuppari booni booon maku o kakete, sono ueni sound buranketto o kakete nijyuu ni shimasu
I hope that the tension will be enough to hold the rods in place with the weight of the sound blankets. These rods will take care of the sides but I need two more to take care of the back, top and possibly the front of the booth. I want to use this as a curtain style setup so I can just pull the blankets around me when needed and push them out of the way when I don't. This should save time on setup, not that it takes long to set up my current booth, and it should save me some space.
Saundo buranketto no omosa ni taete, ten-shon dake de tsuna-gi-me o kotei dekiru to ii no desu ga. > Kono roddo wa ryou-waki ni tsukaemasu ga, ushiro to ue, soshite tabun mae no bun to shite ato ni-hon hitsuyo desu. > Kaaten-shiki ni shitai node, hitsuyo na toki ni dake buranketto o hikitsuri, hitsuyo nai toki wa waki ni yoseru you ni shitai desu. > Kore de supeesu no fuyasemasu shi, setchi no jikan mo tanshuku dekiru hazu desu. Ima no buusu mo jikan wa kakarimasen ga, motto raku ni naru to omoimasu.
