The Voice Traveller
I have made some recent changes to the podcast. I've combined the two into one so you will now here the podcast in both English and Japanese. After a few trials I have now decided to do this paragraph by paragraph. You will get one paragraph in English and the next in Japanese.

I reviewed episode 3 and that had some mistakes. The Japanese side didn't translate well and was a bit confusing. I've fixed... I hope, in this bonus release.
Thanks for your time.

One of the things I need to do is continue creating characters. The one I am currently working on is for an Investigator. It's a Noir type character. Using the Noir genre from the 1940’s through 1950’s I created a 1960’s Investigator named Lincoln Thurgood West.
Boku wa atarashi Kyarakutaa o sousaku shinakereba narimasen. Kyarakutaa no namae wa Lincoln Thurgood West desu. Yobi kata wa Lincoln ka “Linku” de, noaaru kyarakutaa desu. Linku san wa 1947 nen gurai, showa 22, minami California, Los Angeles shi ni umaremashima
I’ve completed the character sheet, script and have recorded some dialogue. This process helps me get into the character and give them some permanence. This all came about from our homework for this week. I created another character to read the script as an evening Jazz DJ for a radio station. I thought my reading was good; however, one of my classmates commented on the read.
Kyarakutaa sheet wa owarimashita. Chisai Daihon o kakimashita. (this section below is AI generated)
Kono purosesu wa, kyarakutaa ni narikiri, kare ni fukamitsu o ataeru no ni yaku tachimasu. Kore wa subete konshuu no shukudai kara hajimari-mashita. Radio kyoku no yoru no jazu DJ to shite daihon o yomu tame ni, mou hitori no kyarakutaa o sousaku shimashita. Jibun no yomi wa ii to omoi-mashita ga, kurasu meito kara fuidobakku o morai-mashita.
It was a positive review; however, instead of it registering as a Jazz DJ style voice she pretty much felt it was a detective type of character. So I thanked her for the review and shifted gears creating this new character. I’ll have to revisit the Jazz DJ character and work on that. I am disappointed that my reading came off differently than I intended but there was some good information in the feedback.

Segment 3: [ Agencies / ]
I ran into a former coworker. I spoke about my Voice Acting while catching up and he asked if I had attended any of the Talent/Modeling try outs. I of course had not and he got me some links to a few agencies. I submitted to one today and I’ll just wait and see what happens. The process was easy, answering a few questions, uploading some demo files and a list of whatever work I’ve done.
Senshu wa moto douryou ni aimashita. Seiyuu natta koto o hanahimashita. Kare wa tarento jimusho ni tsuite oshiete kuremashita. Uebsite o boku ni kuremashita. Konshu, sono uebusaito no hitotsu o mite mimashita. Online form ni kinyuu shite, henji o matte imasu.

That’s all for now, I’ll keep you all updated on my progress.
